Walid Galal - Country Manager for Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia
Walid has a BA in Economics and Political Sciences and is a member of the BPS (British Psychological Society).
He has a wide experience in business at the front end having worked on business strategy, marketing, training and recruitment both domestically and internationally, in B2B and B2C environments. His involvement in a number of different fields and functions has given Walid a good overview of business which has greatly informed his professional approach with his clients. Before moving into training, Walid worked in FMCG, shipping services, freight forwarding and management consulting.
Now, through his work in the training environment for 13 years, Walid has helped his clients with sales, sales coaching, sales management, sales through service and negotiation - delivering to over 4,000 delegates to great success on both transactional and consultative sales skills. His local and global projects have included Telecoms, IT, Financial Services, Pharmaceutical and Automotive sectors. The scope of these projects has varied immensely from single in-company programmes, to full sales academies, including extensive TNA, design and delivery over 18 months. This experience has been invaluable and Walid is now accredited as a Huthwaite Master Trainer, in the full portfolio of Huthwaite solutions.
Walid’s approach – just like Huthwaite’s – is always to establish the relationship of a true partner in the client’s business development strategy, rather than as a mere training supplier. He believes that the human factor is the most important one, which is why he sees it as his mission to help his clients achieve their own world-class human resources by working on developing and growing their people.
With the ability to deliver in Arabic and English, Walid has trained in KSA, UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
