Steve Thurlow Business Director – Manufacturing & Logistics
Steve joined Huthwaite as a Consultant in 1991. He has sold, designed and delivered the full range of Huthwaite commercial skills solutions to a number of the world's leading salesforces including APV, Ciba Specialty Chemicals, General Electric, IBM, ICI, Unipart Logistics and UPS.
Steve has a particular interest in widening the sales culture across organisations and especially maximising the sales value that can be created and captured by service and technical personnel. Steve has held several management and Director roles including being responsible for bringing Huthwaite's service/sales continuum model to market.
Steve now focuses on new business development in the manufacturing and process, and logistics and supply chain, markets. His role involves creating, identifying and realising opportunities to deliver the performance improvements and business outcomes our clients are seeking, across his market sectors.
Prior to Huthwaite Steve had 15 years sales and sales management experience predominantly in the IT sector. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management and a regular writer and speaker on sales and service related topics.
